Since Burbach Aquatics, Inc. is recognized as a leader in the field of aquatic engineering and technical details, we are frequently called upon to render opinions and provide expert witnessing and evaluation of failed projects. This area of service at times can be very heart rendering as communities struggle to rectify projects, which have failed, and cost millions of taxpayer dollars. Burbach Aquatics, Inc. is currently in its seventeenth generation of indoor/outdoor family aquatic center design and in the 30th year record of never having a failed pool vessel.

The following are just a few communities in which Burbach Aquatics, Inc. has been called upon to provide expert witnessing services:

1. Bettendorf, Iowa – Pool failure, collapsed filters, dozens of broken pipes, entire facility demolished and replaced after two years. Project complete and new pool operating correctly.

2. Chariton, Iowa – Pool vessel failures after one year, litigation is completed-plans for complete replacement submitted for approval and is currently under construction with a planned opening for June of 2007.

3. DeWitt, Iowa – Numerous pump failures after one year, improper pump design, completely replaced pumps and associated piping. Pool now operating correctly.

4. Manchester, Iowa – Piping and pool vessel failure after one year, 60,000 Gallons per Day. Currently in litigation.

5. Richland Center, Wisconsin – Observe repetitive wall cracking at time of occupancy, improper masonry wall reinforcement, and litigation is completed.

6. Shawnee County, Kansas – New family aquatic center scheduled to open June of 2004, completed in 2005-2006, subsoil flooding issues, located in 100 year floodplain in floodway fringe. Currently in litigation.
