Burbach Aquatics traces its roots back to 1978, when founder David F. Burbach established Burbach Municipal and Civil Engineers in Platteville, Wisconsin, providing engineering services to communities throughout southwestern Wisconsin. As the firm grew, Mr. Burbach recognized that municipal swimming pools presented a unique set of engineering and infrastructure challenges that required specialized expertise beyond traditional civil engineering.

Drawing on his early experience helping communities design new pools and extend the life of existing facilities, Mr. Burbach made the decision to focus exclusively on aquatic engineering, establishing Burbach Aquatics, Inc. Since then, our vision has remained the same: to provide communities with expert architectural and engineering services dedicated solely to municipal aquatic facilities.

Today, every member of our team is focused on the planning, design, engineering, and construction of community pools. As a full-service architectural and engineering firm, our engineers, architects, project managers, and technical specialists work together under one roof, providing seamless collaboration from concept through construction.
